This is a big mood. I am a cis woman whose sexual experiences with other women have almost entirely been in the context of threesomes with cis, straightish men, which is one of the reasons I only use the label "bisexual" infrequently. It doesn't help that I'm aromantic so trying to make a distinction between "friends I am happy to have sex with" and "friends I am sexually attracted to" is not always super easy.
Just because something is "encouraged" by the patriarchy doesn't mean that someone doesn't truly want that experience. We need liberation for everyone because these experiences are still fraught!
